| tell me about it. being a fucking teacher is about the biggest killer of a social life imaginable, unless your idea of a social life is hanging out with other teachers (who are usually made up of, at least in the south, evangelical christians who consider having a girly drink with your bloomin' onion a mortal sin). i've met some crazy teachers, though. not so much in the higher grades, but i've learned that, for the most part, pre-k teachers are among the dirtiest people i've ever met in my life. there's even some orgy rumours floating around about one of my colleagues (why i wasn't invited, i'll never know).
but yeah, basically, just doin' comics and teachin' kids. living on my own now, no roommate, no boyfriend... just knitting like mad. | | (Reply) (Parent) (Thread) |
